My artistic interaction always includes references to the theme of biography. Here I am especially interested in objects that either have a particular meaning for their owners as mementoes or that become substitutes for the stories of their lives and times in connection with the course of a person’s life.
Dokumentation as a statement _______________________________
This series of photos sketches the life of a person by means of biographical everyday objects. New lives are constantly being created by modified combinations.
Biographical objects are confronted
with a photograph. Memory, reality
and truth are questioned in this
way.
The sketches represent attempted
movements to establish the correct
perception of the article of
clothing, which leads to an infinite
listing of all possible variants.
